Ein spannendes und actionreiches Fortsetzungswerk, das die Spannung der ersten Teile perfekt aufgreift, auch wenn einige Wendungen etwas vorhersehbar waren.

***** Spoiler Alert *****This book is very well written and kept me reading. It is about the Gladers who escaped the Maze and survived. Wicked sends them through a desert, in which they meet the second Groups of Gladers, who are the complete opposite. They are all Girls and only one Boy. They meet the people, who have the Flare. the diease that nearly killed all people. But at the end they find out, that they are all immune against it. This book raises even more questions than the first one and answers only very few. I hope that the third book is going to solve all of them!Sorry for my English, it is not my first language and I hope, that there are not tooo many mistakes :)I really recommend this book to pretty much every teenager out there. And I am very excited about the Movie!

Das zweite Buch von James Dashner finde ich noch spannender als das erste. "breathtaking" fällt mir dazu nur ein.Mit dem MAZE RUNNER wird der Leser in eine neue Welt hineingeworfen, genauso wie die Jugendlichen. Man findet sich damit zurecht, und erwartet - wie die Jugendlichen - in keiner Weise was Schreckliches bei den SCORCH TRIALS folgt. J. Dashner gelingt es, immer wieder Neues, Unerwartetes zu bringen, den Spannungsbogen hoch zu halten. Und man ist gespannt auf den dritten Teil...
