Dieses Buch ist ein faszinierendes und bewegendes Abenteuer, das sehr gut geschrieben ist, wenn auch die Handlung an einigen Stellen etwas langsamer wird.
I would say, that there was no missing paper in it and it was in a proper shape because of the hardcover. Hardcover is fully black and the cover with the picture comes only as a paper.
Ocean Vuong writes his novel like he writes his poetry, intense, full of passion and sentiment.I enjoyed it and look forward to what he will write next. Thank you
The book is written in letter form, to the writers mother. The mother had lived through the Vietnam War, and mostly it tells of her experiences of the war and of life in general. It is a heavy read at times but very enjoyable, some of the narrative is haunting, and will stay in the memory long after you finish reading.
