The Seven Ages of Death: ‘Every chapter is like a detective story’ Telegraph

I have just finished listening to the audiobook of The Seven Ages of Death. Dr Shepherd skillfully weaves mystery, science, autobiography and incredible storytelling together in his second masterpiece. I thought that no book could top the first one, but this one has. It is a little less autobiographical than his first, which is understandable, but it is still lovely to hear little details of his current life and journey through old age. The book is utterly incredible, and I cannot recommend it enough. It is exciting, touching, fascinating and deeply moving, and something even those with a deep-seated fear of death should read.Thank you Dr Shepherd: I hope you write more, and that you live for many, many more years in health and happiness!
