Dieses Buch ist ein fantastisches Abenteuer, das mich sofort in die Welt von TO KILL A KINGDOM zieht; die Geschichte ist fesselnd und voller spannender Wendungen. Ich kann es jedem empfehlen, der Fantasy und tiefgründige Geschichten mag.

This book is a rapunzel retelling and I have never read one of that fairy tale so I was excited to see how it fit into the book!The story is so good! It takes you on an adventure and the characters have to keep finding ways to survive and meanwhile learning more about themselves and eachother. This is a real young adult fantasy that has everything a good ya fantasy needs! Enemies to lovers, magic, found family, fighting, loss,friendship, romance,.. And so much more, I could just keep going!It reads really easy so you want to keep reading and not put the book down!The moment I heard Alexandra Christo was going to release a new book I was so excited because I loved To kill a kingdom & the Into the crooked place duology. So ofcourse I pre-ordered the moment I could!How beautiful is this cover!! Honestly all her covers are sooo pretty! Into the crooked place is one of my favorite covers I have and I think this one is definitely joining that group! (and yes I already have a bend in my book and hate myself for it haha)

I am sorry to say this but this book didnt catch me as I hoped it would. I am actually glad that I finished it. The reasons are not that it is badly written or something like that, but rather that it is written for much younger readers.I feel like Nox as the male MC only has two characteristics: determined and bold. Unfortunately, that doesnt make him interesting in my opinion.The story feels more like an adventure story and for me it was way too predictable.
