I found this book excellent. Particularly how no country would give Snowden asylum.

I may not agree with Mr. Snowdens opinions, actions or justifications, but as far as this book goes I found a lot of interesting material in it, a lot to think about. The book is more or less an auto-biography starting with the author as a little kid and his upbringing, his family, his development as a "computer nerd". As I am half a generation older and in the same profession it was interesting how significant the difference is between the last generation that still knows both worlds (with and without Internet and cell phones) and the first generation who grew up together with those technologies and in comparison with those who found them already in existance. I give this as an example for something I noticed - the book mainly interested me in places that had nothing to do with Mr. Snowdens special life. He is obviously a very intelligent person who thinks a lot about himself and his actions and I found it interesting to compare his views to mine and to interprete the differences. The particularities concerning computers and government organisations were not so interesting to me since I know a lot about those for a long time. But still it was no slow reading. Only once or twice did I think that he could have omitted a page or two. I think the book is excellent material when it comes to understanding the American view on the world. So I enjoyed reading the account.
