Promises We Meant To Keep: The emotionally gripping and swoon-worthy TikTok sensation (Lancaster Prep, 3, Band 3)

It was about a troubled girl with a lot of baggage and a guy who loved her for years or better they loved each other. For me It was sometimes, especially in the beginning, hard to like her, because she had some not so very nice flaws , otherwise you feel sorry for her and can’t help yourself , you just want to help her. This story goes back into the past, so you can string the story better together and know how deep the relationship goes. The hardest thing for me to understand was her mother and, that in reality it was really possible.All in all it was a good book about love, lost, forgiveness and a very rich family.

Promises We Meant To Keep is another standalone of one of the Lancaster family written by Monica Murphy.This story is about Sylvie Lancaster and Spencer Donato. They have known each other since they were kids because Spencer is the best friend of Sylvies older brother. They sneaked around for many years. They both loved each other in their own way. But one day there was an announcement that Syvlie got engaged … and it was not to Spencer. Some years went by and her husband died. She wants to escape everyone but what she didn’t expect was that Spencer would find her.I loved this book (like pretty much every story Monica writes) and I thought the story was kinda unique and totally not what I expected it to be. My heart broke for Syvlie because she was under such a bad influence for most of her life and people didn’t see it. Spencer is her savior and I love how protective he is of her even after everything that has happened. They have so much chemistry and in the end you just want more of them!I can’t wait to read more of the Lancaster family!
