I support Caribbean authors but the book is a bit too confusing, a bit like wading through snow or mud. I mean no disrespect, I am an avid reader and this book does not connect the dots. I finished by halfway. I am giving it three stars because I like the language but I cannot make connections regarding who is who and the characters and their roles are a bit confusing. Sorry.
