Reliquary: The Second Novel in the Pendergast Series

Much like Relic, this is a fun read for those who love monster stories. Because of the unusual locations where the story takes place, past a certain point I found the descriptions tiresome and disorienting. Also, the book is quite dated in its social mores, especially in regards to how female characters are developed, described and treated.
