Theologie in europäischen Räumen - Neu

[Theology in European Spaces. A Study on the Understanding of Theology, Forms of Theological Reflection, and Theologically Motivated Engagement] The study explores Europe as an emerging theological space in which theology is stimulated and challenged by experiences of alterity and encounters with the European other. It starts from a multidimensional understanding of theology that incorporates and regards Europe as a space of theological productivity. A combination of systematic theological conceptual work and empirical research on three case studies yields various structural characteristics of theologically productive European spaces and different forms of theological reflection in Europe. The study thus provides a systematic theological contribution to the exploration of Christianity in Europe, as well as perspectives for and connections to practical theological questions.
