Letters about Information - Neuware

The book is a philosophical examination of the concept of information - written as a series of letters to the grandson of the author, Ion Irimie. The Romanian philosophy professor, who is over 80 years old, not only analyzes the technical and mathematical definition of the term, but also presents information as a fundamental category of thought and reality. The starting point is the realization, that information is a simple yet highly complex phenomenon - in technology, biology, communication, and human consciousness. The presentation links historical developments with a systematic analysis of central questions: What is information How does it relate to matter, energy, time, consciousness, and truth The work critically explores existing theories and develops its own interdisciplinary reassessment.
